Bronze Medallion Lifesaving - Course
Lifesavers, is the leading drowning prevention organisation within the UK. The Society has developed various lifesaving awards over many years with each one having its own set of requirements to assist in turning bystanders into lifesavers.
The Bronze Medallion is recognised as the flagship award for lifesaving. The Course at RVLC normally runs for 9 consecutive weeks, 8 weeks of training with the examination on the 9th week. Each week the class consists of 1 hour theory followed by 1 hour pool work. From time to time we also run intensive classes over a shorter period of time.
Successful candidates receive a medallion and certificate.
Please note this class is open to persons aged 13 years or older.
