All membership applications are only accepted upon completion of the relevant paperwork.
Those memberships which include use of the Lifestyle Fitness Suite require that the user must first complete an Induction.
All members will be given a membership card which is to be produced at reception on all visits to the Centre. The first card will be issued free of charge. Cards lost or stolen should be reported to the Centre immediately. There will be a fee for replacement unless the original card is in some way faulty.
A photograph will be taken before the card is issued to the member. This image will be stored on the Leisure Centre's computer system for the purposes of identifying the member upon swiping in at Reception. The image will not be used for any other purpose either by Limavady Borough Council or any third party.
Members information will be stored on the Centre's computer system and will only be used for the purposes of Roe Valley Leisure Centre, Competition Line (Lifestyle Fitness), Harlands Finance or Credit Resolution Services.
Memberships paid for up front are valid for 12 months unless otherwise specified at the time of payment.
Members wishing to pay by Direct Debit will be required to complete a membership agreement. This agreement is a legally binding document which will "tie in" the member for the first 12 months. Please note that failure to pay under the terms of this agreement can result in additional fees being charged by Harlands and ultimately in court action being taken against the customer in order to recoup outstanding monies.
Users who opt to pay on a Casual basis will be able to gain free entry for 10 consecutive days following an induction and any associated payment. After this time they will be required to "hire" a day user card from reception to gain access to the Lifestyle Fitness Suite. Whilst the actual hire fee is zero, a deposit of £5 is required which will be refunded on return of the card immediately after the visit. Failure to return the card immediately or by, at the latest, close of business that day will result in the loss of deposit. Day User Cards not returned will be suspended and will no longer open the door to the Lifestyle Fitness Suite.
