Lifestyle Fitness Suite

In 2005 Council entered into partnership with Competition Line for the provision of our Lifestyle Fitness Suite. This extended facility now contains some of the most up to date fitness equipment to cater for all levels, whether it be the recreational user or the competitive athlete.

Equipment includes a full range of resistance weights machines, a selection of free weights and a full range of cardio training including treadmills, cross trainers, cycles & rowing machines. In all there are over 50 pieces of equipment to exercise every part of the body.

The fitness suite also features a cardio theatre facility allowing users to watch tv or listen to music while they train. Our 4 large plasmas offer Sky Sports and a Music Channel while the smaller screens offer these and the normal terrestrial channels.

Customers can "pay as they play" as a Casual User or why not take out a membership and get even more value for money. Did you know that an Adult Membership costs only £360 per year? That's only £6.92 per week or 99p per day! And don't forget that membership includes use of the Health Suite and Swimming during public sessions.

Why not come in a see the Fitness Suite for yourself. Just ask at reception and a member of staff will be happy to show you round.

Opening Hours

For Health & Safety reasons all users of the fitness suite must complete an induction session with one of our instructors before they can be permitted access.
