Pools

There are 2 swimming pools at RVLC

Main Pool is 25m long, 10m wide marked for 5 lanes. Depths range from 1.0m to 2.0m.

The Learner Pool is 15m by 10m and is 1m deep. There is also a splash area at one end of the Learner Pool which is only a few inches deep, ideal for the younger child. We run most of our swimming lessons in this pool, together with our popular Parent & Toddler Swim Sessions on Mondays & Fridays from 10-11am. Sessions in the pools during public swimming times are 55 mins long and start every 15 mins.

Early morning swim sessions run from 7:30am - 9:25am, Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

During school term times, lunchtime swims are available 12:15pm - 1:25pm Monday to Friday.

Changing is facilitated in the Centre's Village Change. Please note that this is a unisex mixed changing facility. Lockers for clothing and valuables are available and operate on refundable £1 basis. There are a few larger family changing cubicles also. Hairdryers are also available in the Village Change and require 20p for operation.

The Centre has several related items for sale at Reception including children's armbands, goggles, nose clips, swim nappies and swimsuits/swim shorts.
